Assam TET Latest Notification 2019 published on 24-10-2019 by Member Secretary, Empowered Committee on Elementary TET, Government of Assam regarding engagement as a teacher after Qualifying in Assam TET 2019. In the TET Advertisement, it is clearly mentioned to select the preferred Zone carefully. So it’s a very good decision because it is observed that the TET qualified teachers' engagement in the schools as per their preferences, still apply for transfers to the school located in other districts. This prevents the teachers from becoming truly invested in and building a relationship with the children, school and the community where they serve. Considering this, the districts have been grouped into several zones and a candidate has to select his preferred Zone while applying for the TET. After qualifying in TET, he or she will get a preference for engagement as a teacher in his preferred Zone in accordance with the Government Notification No PMA.277/2019/7-A dated 22-08-2019.
Assam TET Latest Notification 2019-TET Engagement Clarification
With reference to the Advertisement vide No.SSA/Esstl/Gen-Corres/TET/470/ 2011/9098, dated 30.08.2019 it is for clarification for all concerned that a candidate selecting any of the notified Zones during submission of online application for TET can apply for engagement as teacher after Qualifying in TET in the district(s) of that particular Zone only which he/she had selected during the lime of submission of online application for TET-201
He/She will not be engaged In district(s) of other Zone(s). Further, after engagement, inter zonal transfer will not be permissible in future.

Assam TET 2019 Application Form-Assam TET exam 2019: Elementary Education Department, Government of Assam, TET Empowered Committee,Elementary TET declared the next tet exam in Assam notification for TET in Assam in 2019. It is for general information that the Government of Assam, in provision of Section 23 of the RTE Act – 2009 and in view of order of Hon’ble Gauhati High Court in WP(C) No 2280/2018 has decided to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)-2019 for Lower Primary and Upper Primary level for the state of Assam as per the guidelines laid down by NCTE and thereby online applications are invited from the candidates having permanent residence in the state of Assam who intend to appear in Paper I( Lower Primary) and Paper-II ( Upper Primary) of TET. 2. It is observed that after possessing requisite eligibility criteria, the TET qualified teachers after engagement in the schools as per their preferences, still apply for transfers to school located in other district. This prevents the teachers from becoming truly invested in and building relationship with the children, school and the community where they serve. Considering this, the districts have been grouped into several zones and a candidate has to select his preferred Zone while applying for the TET. After qualifying in TET, he or she will get preference for engagement as a teacher in his preferred Zone in accordance with the Government Notification No PMA.277/2019/7-A dated 22/08/2019. This will be applicable for both regular and contractual posts.
