Exam Conduct by SEBA
Assam TET Exam Guidelines:
1. All metallic things including mobiles, electronic devices, Watches, Rings, Bangles of Ladies candidates, bags, water bottle are prohibited within the TET exam hall.
2. The TET Candidates can use both blue and black pens for darkening the OMR sheet.
3. The candidates must sign their answer scripts before leaving the Examination hall.
4. If any candidate leaves the Exam Hall without Sign, they will be considered as absentees.

- The above decision was taken at a meeting of the state Education department held at the SEBA office. Apart from this several other crucial guidelines have been formulated by the concerned authorities.
- The deputy commissioners, sub-divisional officers (civil) and the respective police stations of the districts will take care of the security of the examination centres.
- The Assam TET examination will be held after a gap of seven years and it will also be the first TET examination to be held after Sarbananda Sonowal-led BJP government came to power in the State.
- The government has taken all possible measures to ensure that the examination is held in a free and fair manner leaving no scope for any controversy.
Total Elementary Schools Vacancy
- There are 17,292 Teachers posts are lying vacant across various Elementary schools in the State.
- 10,137 are in the LP level and 7,155 posts are lying vacant at the UP level.
