Assam TET Exam 2019:
About TET Exam :
TET exam full form is the Teacher's Eligibility Test. TET is the minimum qualification for a person who wishes to be a Teacher. This test is compulsory as per the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education(RTE) Act 2009. For eligible for getting a Teaching job in Schools, persons must be qualified in TET. Besides TET a candidate must pass Diploma in Elementary Education(DElEd) & Bachelor's in Education (BEd) degree to becoming a teacher.

Type of TET Exam?
There are many types of TET exam according to the level that is as follows:-
- Lower Primary TET (LP TET) - Class 1 to Class 5
- Upper Primary TET (UP TET) - Class 6 to Class 8
- Secondary TET- Class 9 to Class 10
- Higher Secondary TET - Class 11-Class 12
TET conducted by both the central government and state governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET Examination. TET is conducted to fulfill the recruitment of Teachers in Schools.
Why Assam TET?
Elementary Education in Assam going to hold the General TET examination after 7 years. This Assam TET 2019 will be held to reducing the Teacher vacancy problems in Elementary Schools in rural areas in the State of Assam.

- ASSAM TET Paper 1: Questions from Child Development, Learning & Pedagogy, 1st Language, 2ndLanguage, Mathematics and Environmental Studies are asked.
- ASSAM TET Paper 2: Candidate
will have an option in the fourth subject between Mathematics/Science
and Social Studies.
The ASSAM TET

of teaching and learning relevant to Primary classes from Class 1 to 5.
- Topics in Paper-1 focus on understanding the

Assam TET 2019 brief details:-
Assam TET 2019 Level/ Examination date:-
Assam TET 2019 will be conducted both for the LP & UP level in the State of Assam including 6th Schedule districts in the year 2019 tentatively on 22nd or 29th September 2019. The Official Notification for Assam TET recruitment will be published before the Online Application Starting Date. The candidate who has the eligibility criteria as per NCTE norms can apply for this TET examination 2019.
Assam TET 2019 Eligibility criteria:
The eligibility criteria for appearing in the TET exam will be as per NCTE norms.All the eligible candidates willing to apply for Assam TET 2019 and going to make their career in the teaching profession can apply online on or before the last date.For more details about the Assam TET 2019 eligibility criteria must visit the official website.
Lower Primary TET:
Applicants must have 50% (45% Marks for SC/ST/OBC) marks in Higher Secondary or its equivalent with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education [by whatever name known] from recognized institutes.

Upper Primary TET :
Applicants should have Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or from recognized institutes 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education [by whatever name known] from recognized institutes.
Assam TET 2019 Education Qualification:-
TET Exam Qualification details are as follows:

Assam TET 2019 Medium:-
Like earlier Assam TET examinations hold by Govt. of Assam, for the forthcoming TET, question papers will be prepared and printed in five mediums i.e Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, & English.
Assam TET 2019 Language:-
As earlier TET examination Assam TET 2019 language will be the State declared language.
Regarding selection of Language I for proposed TET, the language strategy of the state is to be taken into consideration for upcoming TET Exam in Assam.
Assam TET 2019 Examination Pattern:-
- Only MCQ type questions will be asked in Assam TET 2019.
- There will be 5 sections available of 30 marks in Assam TET 2019.
- 1 mark will be given for a right answer.
- A total of 150 marks include each paper of the Assam TET 2019.
- Total No 150 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in Assam TET 2019.
- There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.

Assam TET 2019 Application Form Mode :
TET Online application will be invited from the eligible candidates for appearing in the TET examination. TET online Apply will be only apply mode for TET Assam 2019.No any Offline Application will be received regarding this. Before filled up Assam TET 2019 candidate should read the Official Notification.
TET Certificate Validity :
TET Certificate validity is for 7 years as per NCTE norms. So candidate who will pass Assam TET 2019 with the required Marks get the validity from Certificate.
Assam TET 2019 Exam Date :
Assam TET 2019 will be conducted both for LP & UP level in the State of Assam including 6th Schedule districts in the year 2019 tentatively on 22nd or 29th September,2019.
Assam TET 2019 Minimum Qualifying Marks:-
Assam TET 2019 Eligibility Certificate:-
- Candidates who score 60% (90/150 marks) of the total marks would be considered qualified for Assam TET 2019 .
- However, the reserved category candidates are required to score only 55% marks (83/150 marks) to qualify.
- Candidates who qualify the exam would be getting the Assam TET 2019 Marksheet cum certificate from Govt of Assam.
- TET Marksheet cum certificate valid for 7 years from date of issue.
Assam TET 2019 Minimum Qualifying Marks:-
NCTE fix the minimum qualifying marks for all the candidates who will appear for TET and the candidates will have to secure marks according to the minimum qualifying marks in order to qualify the exam.
Assam TET 2019 Minimum Qualifying Marks:-
GENERAL = 90/150 = 60%
SC/ST/OBC/EXS = 83/150 =55%
Assam TET 2019 Admit Card:-
After Completion of Assam TET 2019 Online Apply starts on 02-09-2019.Assam TET Admit Card 2019 will be available to download by those students who have applied before the last date. For download, the Assam TET 2019 individual Admit Card candidates need to visit the official website & Click on the ‘Admit Card’ link. The candidate must have to bring the admit card at the exam center without Valid Admit Card candidate will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall.
