About TET Exam : 

TET exam full form is the Teacher's Eligibility Test. TET is the minimum qualification for a person who wishes to be a Teacher. This test is compulsory as per the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education(RTE) Act 2009. For eligible for getting a Teaching job in Schools, persons must be qualified in TET. Besides TET a candidate must pass Diploma in Elementary Education(DElEd) & Bachelor's in Education (BEd) degree to becoming a teacher.

Assam TET Syllabus 2019 Short summary:
  • ASSAM TET Paper 1: Questions from Child Development, Learning & Pedagogy, 1st Language, 2ndLanguage, Mathematics and Environmental Studies are asked.
  • ASSAM TET Paper 2: Candidate will have an option in the fourth subject between Mathematics/Science and Social Studies. 
The ASSAM TET exam 2019 for LP & UP level will be scheduled for October 2019. The recruitment exam is conducted for Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers in various schools of the State of Assam



ASSAM TET Syllabus 2019 Important notes for Paper 1 

  • This paper focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to Primary classes from Class 1 to 5.
  • Topics in Paper-1 focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.
  • Assam TET Syllabus 2019 is based on the topics given in NCERT Books of class I-V.
  • The section on Maths and EVS evaluates a candidate on his facts, concepts, and understanding of the subject.
  • Language papers simply test the candidate for skills of instructions medium.

Assam TET 2019 Examination Pattern:-

  • Only MCQ type questions will be asked in Assam TET 2019.
  • There will be 5 sections available of 30 marks in Assam TET 2019.
  • 1 mark will be given for the right answer.
  • A total of 150 marks include each paper of the Assam TET 2019.
  • Total No 150 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in Assam TET 2019.
  • There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.
