NIOS Admission details:

Eligibility Criteria:

Sr. Secondary: The minimum age to take admission in the Senior Secondary Course is 15 years. As on 31st July, 2019 (born on or before 31.07.2004)

In order to take admission in the Senior Secondary course, the learner must have passed the Secondary course from a recognised Board.

In addition to above Fee, Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty Only) will be added as cost of online Application Form for all Streams (Stream 1, 2, 3 and 4).

NOTE: 

Kindly note that the fee payment is to be made online only. No Bank Draft/Demand Draft/Cash/Cheque or any other mode of fee payment is acceptable. All CSC and NIOS AIs (Study Centres) are authorized for facilitating the learners to take admission online. There are no other Agencies/Cybercafe/any other institutions recognized by NIOS for doing Online Admission.

Procedure for NIOS Online Admission :

Procedure for NIOS Online Admission to Stream-1 Block 1 for the year 2018-19 (This stream for online Admission is open for new Learners for Oct-2019 Examination as per the laid down eligibility criteria for Sr. Secondary Levels. These Learners will be eligible to appear in Public Examination first time in Oct. 2019 Exam : In Oct. 2019 Visit the NIOS website nios.ac.in or the Student portal of NIOS sdmis.nios.ac.in and read the instructions carefully about the below topics: 

❖ How to Register for Admission 

❖ Eligibility criteria 

❖ Date of Examination 

❖ Admission Fee details 

❖ Documents required

 ➥ The learner has to be ready with the scanned copy/soft copy (jpg, jpeg files) of the below documents which will be required to be uploaded while registering for the Admission to Secondary and Senior Secondary courses: 

❖ Recent Passport size color Photograph 

❖ Signature (preferably in Black Ink) 

❖ Valid identity proof (like Aadhaar Card or Passport or Ration card etc.) Valid proof of Date of Birth (like Aadhaar Card with date of birth printed on it in the dd/mm/yyyy format, Birth Certificate etc.) 

❖ A valid proof of Residence (like Aadhaar Card with complete address printed on it, valid Passport/ Water Bill/Electricity Bill/Voter ID/Ration Card/Indian Passport/Statement of Operational Bank Account/Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letter Head, if living in rented accommodation – copy of any proof of permanent address along with present Rented Agreement) 

❖ Class 8th marksheet or Self Certificate (in case of secondary course). Class 10th marksheet (in case of senior secondary course) 

❖ Social Category/Caste Certificate (in case the learner belongs to SC/ST/OBC social category). 

❖ Ex-serviceman Certificate (in case he/she is an Ex-serviceman) 

❖ Disability Certificate (in case he/she is having any kind of disability) 

❖ Fail marksheet of previous Board, failing which Transfer of Credit (ToC) marks will not be updated in NIOS result. If ToC Board marked with (*Other) is selected then the Result should be available on the concerned Board Website else Learner has to submit result verification letter from concerned Board as per NIOS norms

How to Apply NIOS Online Admission

NIOS has introduced 100% On-line admission at the Secondary and the Senior Secondary level in order to facilitate learners to register. Under this scheme, the learner have three options: 

(i) He/She can register on-line directly by visiting the website of NIOS i.e., www.nios.ac.in 

(ii) He/She may visit his/her nearest AI (Study Centre)/Facilitation Centre and take help for on-line registration. 

(iii) He/She may visit the concerned Regional Centre of NIOS and take help for on line registration. 

(iv) He/She can use the services of the Common Services Centres of the Govt. of India for Online registration throughout the Country.

As you know AHSEC SOS HS Level Examination  for B-Block 2018 is declared by AHSEC on 09-04-2019 .Now Who are perusing D.El.Ed in NIOS have to update their HS marks in NIOS website as per NIOS Official Notice. 

"Applicable only for those who were not having 50% Marks in class XII (For general category) and 45% Marks for SC/ST/OBC/Divyang at time of D.El.Ed Registration and updated their marks in Class XII."

About NIOS-D.El.Ed - 2018-19

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme is a specifically designed package for inservice untrained teachers working in primary/ upper primary schools of different states of the country. The programme has been developed by the Academic Department, NIOS on the initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, keeping in view the NCF 2005, RTE 2009 and NCFTE 2010. The Programme aims at enabling the target group to develop in them skills, competencies, attitudes and understanding to make teaching and learning more effective.

Steps for Update Improvement HS Marks in NIOS website :

• Login to the system using Enrolment No , Aadhar No/Voter ID No (Provided at the time of Reg.) and Study Centre Code of D.El.Ed .
• Your Basic Details will be displayed on the screen.
• If your Class XII Percentage is less than the eligibility specified criteria then you have to Update your Class XII mark details. You are required to provide following details:--

1. Enrollment No of class XII.
2. Board from where improvement (XII) has been done.
3. Updated Class XII %
4. You have to upload scan copy (in .jpg format) of Previous Marksheet of class XII
5. You have to upload scan copy (in .jpg format) of Current Marksheet of Class XII

• If you fulfil the criteria of 50%(general) or 45%(SC/ST/OBC/Divyang) then you are not required to update your class XII marks.
• Please note document must be in .jpg format only and file size should be less than 1 MB
