Assam TET 2021 Re-Evaluation | Expert Committee to Probe Discrepancy

Board of Secondary Education, Assam(SEBA) has declared the results of the Assam LP and UP TET 2021 exam on 15th December 2021The exam has been organized at 27 districts centers in the state. 

144,065 candidates appeared for the Assam TET 2021 exam held on 31st October 2021 for Lower Primary Category. A total of 23,394 candidates have passed the LP TET Exam. The pass rate is 16.24 percent. On the other hand, 1,14,719 candidates appeared in the Upper primary TET. The number of candidates who have passed out is 20,639. The percentage of percentage in Upper primary TET is 17.99 percent.

But many candidates not satisfied with their Result So they ask for Assam TET 2021 Re-Evaluation.

Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu Today i.e. on 28th December 2021 announced to form an expert panel to investigate the alleged irregularities in the recently declared Assam TET Result 2021 for Lower primary (LP) level and Upper primary (UP) level. 

It may be recalled that candidates appearing for the Assam TET 2021 examination had staged a protest at Board of Secondary Education. Assam (SEBA)'s office on Monday. Some alleged that the correct answer was wrong against scoring in the wrong answer in the TET exam result. A section of candidates demanded rechecking of their answer sheets. The candidates also held a demonstration against the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) and sought immediate revaluation of their answer papers.

Assam General TET Result 2021

LP - 144,065 candidates appeared in TET

LP - 23, 394 passed in TET

LP – Tet cleared rate of 16.24%

UP - 114,719 candidates appeared in TET

UP - 20, 639 who have cleared tet

UP – Tet cleared rate of 17.99%

Today speacking to Media Education Minister Pegu said, "We will form an expert panel to probe the discrepancies in the evaluation process. The panel will recheck the answer key. The panel will identify and analyse discrepancies and suggest corrective measures to strengthen the process."

On being asked about the complaints by students that they have suffered due to "faults" in the evaluation process, the Minister said, "We have done everything by the book. We are on the right track. I have received messages from several candidates expressing their satisfaction with the results. However, as a section of people has raised questions regarding the evaluation process, we will form the committee."

The result for the Assam general TET 2021 Examination was declared on 15th December 2021. The examination was held on 31st October this year.

However, the Education Minister took to Twitter to share that he has received positive responses from candidates regarding the Assam TET 2021 exam result on Monday eveing.

"I am flooded with messages from candidates expressing their satisfaction over the results of General TET (LP and UP). I appreciate all for their cooperation," Pegu said in a tweet on December 27.
