About TET Exam : 

TET exam full form is the Teacher's Eligibility Test. TET is the minimum qualification for a person who wishes to be a Teacher. This test is compulsory as per the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education(RTE) Act 2009. For eligible for getting a Teaching job in Schools, persons must be qualified in TET. Besides TET a candidate must pass Diploma in Elementary Education(DElEd) & Bachelor's in Education (BEd) degree to becoming a teacher.

Type of TET Exam?

There are many types of TET exams according to the level that is as follows:-

• Lower Primary TET (LP TET) - Class 1 to Class 5
• Upper Primary TET (UP TET) - Class 6 to Class 8
• Secondary TET- Class 9 to Class 10
• Higher Secondary TET - Class 11-Class 1

TET is conducted by both the central government and state governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET Examination. TET is conducted to fulfill the recruitment of Teachers in Schools.

• This paper focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to Primary classes from Classes 1 to 5.
• Topics in Paper-1 focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.
• Assam TET Syllabus 2021 is based on the topics given in NCERT Books of class I-V.
• The section on Maths and EVS evaluates a candidate on his facts, concepts, and understanding of the subject.
• Language papers simply test the candidate for skills of instructions medium.
