Venture School Assam Latest News 2020

Addressing a Press Meet Today 01-08-2020 at Janata Bhawan Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that with effect from 01-01-2021 Total No of 197 High School, 9 Higher Secondary, 149 Junior College or Senior Secondary under Director of Secondary Education will be Provincialized. The 1st Lists will be uploaded on 15th August 2020.

Also, a Total No of 414 new Teachers Posts will be provincialized. Total No of 97 Junior College Additional College will be Provincialized.  


690 College Teacher Left Out Teachers who have not had the norms before 
already provincialized

30 New Colleges will Provincialized within 15th August 2020.  931 Professor Posts will be provincialized. 

Total 3359 Nos of Teacher Posts & 931 Professor Posts will be provincialized which will be 4290 in Total.



The 1st Provincialized Lists will be published within 15th August 2020 & the 2nd List LP & UP will be given in October 2020. 

“The first list of provincialized colleges and schools will be published on August 15. The second list will be published in October. But it will be effective from next January  1,” Dr. Sarma said.
The Irregular Teacher pending works will be done within next 2 months.

Mr. Sarma also gave some important announcements that Tea Garden Areas will get 119 High Schools within 2nd October 2020, 1 Crore 19 Lakh Amount already released for new construction of High Schools.

With effect from 1st January 2021, Govt of Assam will provincialize 197 High School, 9 Higher Secondary and 149 Junior College or Senior Secondary under Directorate of Secondary Education.
