CAT 2020 - Common Admission Test

Indian Institute of Management Indore has launched the official website for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020. 

CAT 2020 exam date is 29th November 2020 and it will be held in two sessions. The online registration for CAT 2020 will start from 5th August to 16th September 2020. The CAT mock test can be availed from 16th October 2020.

Name of Exam: Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020

Eligibility to Appear in CAT 2020:

Minimum 50% of marks in graduation can appear in CAT 2020. A final year student in graduation can also appear in CAT conducted by IIMs. However, there is no age limit to apply and appear in CAT 2020.

CAT Exam Pattern:

There is no change in the exam pattern of CAT 2020. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode on November 29, 2020, in two slots. A total of 100 questions will be asked with 60 minutes given to each section. There will be three sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. Candidates will be not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section

CAT Exam Centres:

The number of exam centers for CAT 2020 is 156 exam cities as compared to last year. Students while filling the application form can opt for six exam cities as per their preference.

CAT Application Fee:

The application fee for CAT has also increased to Rs.2000/- for General candidates and to Rs.1000/- for SC/ST candidates. It should also be paid online only.  

CAT 2020 Online Registration:

Aspirants willing to appear for CAT 2020 will have to first create their login credentials and login to fill the complete CAT 2020 registration form.

CAT 2020 Important Dates:

• CAT Notification 2020: July 29, 2020
• CAT 2020 registration commences: August 5, 2020
• Last date to register: September 16, 2020
• Availability of admit card: October 28, 2020
• CAT 2020 Exam date: November 29, 2020
