Addressing a press meet Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma today on 07-06-2020 at Janata Bhawan Guwahati, shared a series of decisions of the Government of Assam on education.

🛑🛑Extremely pleased to share GOA has made ALL admissions - from HS up to PG level including medical, engineering, polytechnic for the academic year 2020-21 - absolutely free. Under stress due to COVID19, this shall be a big relief to families. All prospectus will be free.

🛑🛑Under Anundoram Barooah Award students with distinction & star marks in HSLC exams are rewarded with a computer every year. This year, instead of a laptop, they shall get Rs 20,000 in their bank accounts in DBT mode. They're free to purchase computers of their choice.

11260 State Pool teachers working under SSA with a fixed salary, and 5243 contractual teachers working in various high schools will draw equivalent pay, service tenure and leave enhancement at par with their counterparts in state government.

🛑সৰ্বশিক্ষা অভিযানৰ অধীনত কৰ্মৰত ২৯ হাজাৰ ৭০১ গৰাকী শিক্ষক-শিক্ষয়িত্ৰীলৈ তেওঁলোকৰ ৬০ বছৰ বয়সলৈকে অন্যান্য সকলো সুবিধাসহ নিয়মীয়া "পে' স্কেল" প্ৰদানৰ বাবে অসম চৰকাৰে সিদ্ধান্ত লৈছে ৷

তেনেদৰে, সৰ্বশিক্ষা অভিযানৰ অধীনত স্থায়ী দৰমহাত কৰ্মৰত ৰাজ্যৰ ১১ হাজাৰ ২৬০ গৰাকী শিক্ষক-শিক্ষয়িত্ৰী আৰু ঠিকাভিত্তিক ৫ হাজাৰ ২৪৩ গৰাকী হাইস্কুলৰ শিক্ষক-শিক্ষয়িত্ৰীয়ে ৰাজ্য চৰকাৰৰ আন শিক্ষক-শিক্ষয়িত্ৰীৰ দৰেই একে দৰমহা, চাকৰি-কাল তথা ছুটীৰ সুবিধা লাভ কৰিব ৷

🛑 ৰাজ্য চৰকাৰে "বিদ্যাদান" নামেৰে এক ব্যতিক্ৰমী কাৰ্যসূচী আৰম্ভ কৰিবলৈ আগবাঢ়িছে ৷ যিকোনো বিষয়ত শিক্ষাদান কৰিব বিছৰা লোকসকলৰ বাবে ইয়ে এক মঞ্চৰ দৰে কাম কৰিব ৷ সমগ্ৰ দেশতে মানবিশিষ্ট শিক্ষাৰ ধাৰাবাহিকতা সুনিশ্চিত কৰিবলৈ

প্ৰথম শ্ৰেণীৰ পৰা দ্বাদশ শ্ৰেণীলৈ এইদৰে লাভ কৰা শিক্ষাসমলখিনি ইন্টাৰনেটযোগে উপলব্ধ কৰোৱা হ'ব ৷

The Minister said, “All the 29,701 teachers working under SSA will be able to work till 60 years of age. They will receive DA/ DR allowances like other state government teachers. These teachers will also receive increments every year from now onwards.”

“All these 29,701 TET teachers will also be allowed to take casual leaves, sick leaves, maternity leaves etc like a regular state government teacher. They can also apply for bank loans under SSA”, he further added.

He said shortly official proceedings will start for new contracts up to 60 years.

Dr. Sarma also announced that all the 11206 State Pool Teachers and 5243 secondary teachers’ tenure of services will be extended up to 60 years of age.

Dr Sarma further added, “All the 11206 State Pool Teachers teachers and 5243 Secondary teachers’ will be able to work till 60 years of age. The state pool teachers salary will be at par with newly-recruited regular LP/UP Teachers scale of pay based on RoP”.

Dr. Sarma further said, “Both and State Pool Teachers will be eligible for leaves as per norm of concerned Deptt”.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sarma also mentioned that all the 5243 secondary teachers salary will be at par with newly-recruited Graduate Teachers scale of pay based on RoP.

ৰাজ্যৰ আান চৰকাৰী কৰ্মচাৰীৰ লগত পাৰ্থক্য নাথাকিব সৰ্বশিক্ষা অভিযানৰ অন্তৰ্গত শিক্ষকৰ।
