DEE, Assam has issued the important notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) passed candidates. As per notification Director of Elementary Education, Assam partially modified the Criteria-I of the DEE Assam earlier Advertisement.CTET Passed candidate will be selected for the Post of the teacher in the same medium school as per the Language-I or Language-II selected in CTET for both LP & UP. The intending candidate who has passed CTET having all other requisite qualifications may Apply Online through the official website of  DEE, Assam, i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in from Midnight of 01-03-2020 to Midnight 4th March 2020.

The Criteria-I mentioned in the Advertisement for recruitment of regular teachers of LP and UP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam Vide No. EAA/SIU/125/2018/22 Dated 11/03/2018 and vid No. EAA/SIU/125/2018/31 Dated 11/03/2018 is hereby partially modified in respect of the candidates of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) only as follows : “The candidates will be selected for the post of Teacher in the same medium school as per the Language-I or Language-II selected in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for both LP Schools and UP Schools under Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam.”All other terms and conditions of the Notice vide No. EAA/SIU/125/2018/376 Dated 23/01/2020 will remain the same.The intending candidates who have cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) only having all other requisite qualification may apply online through the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in from the Midnight of 1st March, 2020 to Midnight of 4th March, 2020.This has the approval of the Govt. vide No. PMA.160/ 2018/363 Dated 27/02/2020.

Documents Need for Apply Online

1. Your scanned passport photo should be within 150 x 200 px in size, should be less than 100 KB and more than 50KB.

2. Scanned copy of the applicant's recent photograph with the following specifications.

• The photograph should be in formals.
• The photograph must be a passport size color picture.
• The photograph must be taken in full-face view directly facing the camera.
• The photograph should have no shadows and red eyes.
• Photo format should be .jpg only

3. Scanned copy of the applicant's signature with the following specifications.

• The applicant should sign with black ink on a white paper and get the Signature scanned.
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
• Maximum size 49 KB and Minimum size 21 KB and should be 50 x 200 px in size.
• The scanned signature format should be .jpg or .jpeg only.

4. For certificates, please make a single pdf of mark sheets & certificate for each type and the pdf should be less than 1MB in size

LP Qualification :

(a) Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

a) The candidates will be selected for the post of Assistant Teacher in the same medium school as per the Language-I selected in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for LPS.

b) The regular teachers working in LP School are not allowed to apply in any posts in LP Schools and regular teachers working in UP Schools are not allowed to apply in any posts in UP Schools. However, regular LP teachers if otherwise eligible may apply in UP Schools through proper channel only.

c) All eligible contractual teachers may apply to any one of the posts.

d) A candidate can apply only once in any of the districts mentioned above.

e) Candidates who have passed TET for 6th Scheduled Areas are not eligible as per Govt. letter vide No. PMA.345/2016/Pt-II/19 Dated 08/12/2016 and candidates, who have passed TET for Madrassa are not eligible for the post of Assistant Teacher as per Govt. Notification vide No. ASE.675/2013/38 Dated 17/10/2015.

Application Fee: 

No Application fee is required as per Notification by Finance Dept Notification No- EEG /32/2016/12 dated 21st May 2018.
