Discipline: Pediatrician

MBBS with post-graduate degree/diploma in respective subject/field as a specialist and should be registered with the Indian Medical Council.

2. Name of Hospital /HU: Pandu (West) Health Unit
Discipline: General Duty

Education Qualification :
MBBS degree and be registered with the Indian Medical Council.

3. Name of Hospital/HU: Guwahati Health Unit
Discipline: General Duty

Terms & Conditions:

• The appointment will be on full time contract basis for a period not exceeding one year or till replaced by UPSC selected doctors, whichever is earlier for the specified stations only.
• The contract shall be liable to be terminated by giving 15 days notice by either side, without assigning any reasons, or if the contract medical practitioner is mentally/physically incapacitated.
• The contract appointment shall not confer any right for regularization or absorption in the post.
• The number of annual terms for engagement of CMPs is 12 terms on year to year basis or till attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier and each term of engagement shall not exceed more than one year
• A candidate should not exceed 53 years as on 01-01-2019.
• The contract medical practitioner shall produce medical certificates of his/her character and antecedents from two gazetted officers of the Central /State government.

Monthly Salary:

• Specialist (Full time): Rs 95000/- per month (1 st year), Rs 105000/- per month (1 st year onwards).
• General Duty (Full Time): Rs 75000/- per month.

Important Notes

• The candidate who has been selected in the selection must stay in earmarked railway accommodation.
• OBC candidates should submit a proper certificate that they do not belong to the “creamy layer”.
• Those doctors who have already been engaged for 12 months in Indian Railways need not apply.
• The appointment will be on full-time contract basis for a period not exceeding one year or till the regular incumbent joins or attains the age of 67 years whichever is earlier.
• The contract appointment shall not confer any right or claim for continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of the contract.
• A candidate should not exceed 67 years as on 01-01-2019.
• The candidate who has been selected in the selection must stay in ear marked railway accommodation.
• For retired government medical officer the number of terms for engagement is 07 in the Indian Railways subject to the age limit of 67 years.
