Division-wise vacancies:
- Ailpurduar Division: 437
- Rangia Division: 328
- Lumding Division: 1004
- Tinsukia Division: 331
- New Bongaigaon Workshop (NBQS): 156
- EWS/BNGN: 185
- Dibrugarh Workshop (DBWS): 149
Age limit: Minimum 15 years & maximum of 24 years as on 18-09-2019. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/08C and PH & Ex. Serviceman as admissible.
Required Educational Qualification:
Must be passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board.
Technical Qualification :
Passed ITI in relevant trades approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Mode of Selection:
- Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared (trade wise) in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification in respective Units.
- The merit list in each unit will be prepared on the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation with a minimum 50% (aggregate) marks.
Stipend:
Stipend to the selected candidate will be paid as admissible as per extant instruction.

All interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format along with self-attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Caste, Age, etc. and any other relevant documents.Documents Needed with Application Form :
Candidates must also enclose 02 (11x5 inches) Self Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.51- on each of the envelope.

Candidate can apply only in one unit and that too only in one particular trade. If the candidate applies for more than one unit/ trade his/her application will not be considered and rejected.
Candidate Note:
Imparting Training in Railways will not confer any right to the candidates for their absorption in Railway after the successful completion of training.
