Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and a maximum of 38 years as on 01-01-2019. Relaxation as per rule for SC/ST- 5 Years and OBC/MOBC- 3 Years.


Pay : PB: 14,000 - 60,500  GP: 8,700 

Educational Qualification

• Graduate passed with 50% from any recognized university.
• B. Ed Passed from a recognized university.
• High School TET Passed. 

In case of the Post of Hindi Teacher/Classical Teacher (Sanskrit/Arabic), the candidates must be qualified as follows :

Graduate Teacher (Hindi): 

Pravin/Ratna in Hindi and 50% marks in BA/B.Sc/B.Com Degree from any recognized University or BA/B.Sc./B.Com Degree with 50% marks and Hindi as one of the Subject. The candidates must have completed B.Ed/B.T. Degree from any NCTE recognized Institution.

Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit): 

Shastri and 50% marks in BA/B.Sc./B.Com Degree from any recognized University or BA/B.Sc./B.Com with 50% marks and Sanskrit as one of the Subject. The Candidate must have completed B.Ed/B.T. Degree from any NCTE recognized institution.

Graduate Teacher (Arabic): 

FM and 50% marks in BA/B.Sc./B.Com Degree from any recognized University or BA/B.Sc/B.Com with 50% marks and Arabic as one of the Subjects. The Candidate must have completed B.Ed/B.T. Degree from any NCTE recognized Institution.

The medium of Instruction: 
No, Any candidate is allowed to apply in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese medium schools if the candidates do not have MIL in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese respectively in the H.S.L.C. Examination or equivalent certificate/ diploma in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese language.

Note :- 
After scrutiny of applications, candidates will be called for verification of their testimonials and the Select List will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the following examinations:-

a) HSLC Examination 
b) HSSLC Examination
c) BA/B.Sc./B.Com Examination 
d) B.Ed/B.T. Examination &
e) TET Examination

There will be no marks for Viva-Voce except the following:-

• 10 marks for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holder and 05 marks for ‘B’ Certificate holder.
• 10 marks for participation in recognized sports at National Level representing Assam.
• 10 marks for achievements in Fine Arts & Cultural Activities representing the State officially at National Level.
