Directorate of Handloom & Textiles, Assam Recruitment in following district /Sub-division
- Kakaya in Nalbari,
- Chtlarpar in South Salmara Mankachar,
- Kolapani in Biswanath.
- Dharikati in Sonitpur,
- Singerband in Cachar and
- Bagalijan Saboti in Lakhimpur
1. Textile Designer-cum Marketing Executive:
Age limit: Maximum age 45 years as on 01-08-2019.
Education Qualification:
Degree/Diploma (Minimum 3 years duration course) in Textile Designing/Fashion Technology from Govt. recognized reputed institute.
Experience
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the field. The candidate having a Degree/Diploma from NIFT will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
The designer Will be responsible for developing new designs, product development/
diversification, preliminary training to the weavers on transferring newly developed paper designs on the fabrics, marketability of newly developed handloom products of the cluster and also for documentation of the design/product development and as per MOU signed with the implementing authority.
Fee/Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month as professional fee/salary including travel, boarding, lodging, etc.
Period of engagement: 1-3 years as per the provision of project and subject to yearly renewal Of MOU on satisfactory performance.
2. Cluster Development Executive(CDE):
Age limit: Maximum age 45 years as on 01-08-2019.
Education Qualification
Degree/ Diploma in Textile/ Handloom Technology from Govt. recognized reputed institute.
Experience
Field experience of at least 2-4 years in the Textile Unit/ Handloom Cluster etc. including 2 years of the experience was working last.
Responsibilities:
The Cluster Development Executive will be responsible for conducting baseline the survey, diagnostic study, preparation of a detailed project report (DPR) and implementation of the project within the time frame as per Cluster action plan, formation of self help group (SHG)/JLC of weavers, building the local governance framework, linking the
weavers of the clusters.
Fee/salary:
Rs. 20,000/- per month as professional fee/salary including travel, boarding, lodging, internet & mobile, etc, on attaining satisfactory performance.
Period of engagement: 1-3 years as per provision of project and subject to yearly renewal of MOU on satisfactory performance.

The eligible candidates will have to appear in an interview before the selection committee for engagement. No TA/DA will be borne by the Deptt.
