A candidate has to select any three examination Centres. A candidate will be assigned in any one of the following Centres based on the feasibility of a particular Centre.

GUBEDCET 2021 Details

 
To select eligible students to enroll for Gauhati University B.Ed Admission, all interested students must appear for a common entrance test. GUBEDCET exam structure is as mentioned below:
  • Total No of Questions: 100
  • Marks: Each question will carry 4 marks
  • Negative Mark: Each wrong answer1 mark will be deducted
  • Test Type: The test will be OMR-based. 
  • Duration of GUBEDCET Exam: 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Final Time for entering Exam Centre: 11:15 am.
Type of Questions: All questions will be of MCQ type with four alternative choices of which only one answer will be the correct option.
Language of Question Paper: The test Booklet and the OMR will be in English. 
  • Marking System: There will be 4 marks for the correct answer and (-1) for the wrong answer. No negative marks for unanswered questions.

 Gauhati University B.Ed Admit Card 2021 Instructions :

1. There will be 100 questions in question paper and each question will carry 4 marks. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

2. Mobile phones, calculators, log tables or any other tables, wearable smart devices such as Smart Android watches or objects of similar nature cannot be brought inside the examination hall even in the switched-off mode. Candidates have to keep the above-mentioned items in some place outside of the examination hall at their own risk.

3. The Admit Card must be presented for verification along with at least one original (not photocopy or scanned copy) valid photo identification proof (for example valid passport/PAN CARD/Voter ID/Aadhar UID/Valid College ID/Employee ID/Driving License).

4. The Admit Card is valid only if the candidate’s photograph and signature images are legible. To ensure this, please take a clearly legible, preferably colour print-out of this Admit Card on an A4-sized paper.

5. Candidates must report at the examination venue 1 hour before the scheduled commencement of the examination.

6. Candidates will be permitted to appear for the examination only after their credentials are verified by Centre officials.

7. Candidates will be permitted to occupy their allotted seats 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the examination. No candidate will be allowed to enter in examination hall after 11:15 am.

8. Ensure that you have correctly written your GUBEDCET 2021 Roll no.

9. This Admit card is for temporary admission to the Entrance Examination only; the candidate can’t claim eligibility on the basis of this issued Admit Card.

10. Candidate whose photograph and signature is missing on the Admit Card will have to bring two recent passport size photographs.

11. The Candidates need to use Black/Blue Ballpoint pen to mark the bubbles in the OMR Sheet. Use of Whitener/Eraser/Fluid is strictly Prohibited.

12. Darken only one circle for each question, if more than one circle for one question is darkened, the answer will be treated as wrong.

13. If a candidate is found to resort to any kind of unfair means such as carrying extra material other than pen, analog watch, or copying from somebody or from external material, his/her candidature will be canceled.

14. At the end of the examination, a candidate has to return the Question Booklet and OMR sheet to the invigilator.

15. Existing GU Rules and procedures will be applied to settle any other matter not covered by the instructions included here.
