1. Assistant Teacher (UPS)

No of posts: 15

Pay: PB-2, Rs.14,000-49,000, GP-As admissible

Educational Qualification: 

BA, B.Sc, B.Com.from any recognized University and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education BT/B.Ed/ DEd degree from any institution recognized by NCTE. Candidates must be UP TET qualified.

2. Science Teacher (UPS)

No of posts: 63

Pay: PB-2, Rs.14,000-49,000, GP-As admissible

Educational Qualification: 

B.Sc from any recognized University and UP TET qualified in Science & Mathematics Stream and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education BT/B.Ed/ DEd degree from any institution recognized by NCTE.

3. Assamese Language Teacher (UPS)

No of Posts: 30

Pay: PB-2, Rs.14,000-49,000, GP-As admissible

Educational Qualification: 

B.A./ B.Sc from UGC recognized University with the Assamese as one of the subjects. Candidates must be UP TET qualified and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education BT/B.Ed/ DEd degree from any institution recognized by NCTE.

4. Hindi Teacher (UPS)

No of posts: 51

Pay: PB-2, Rs.14,000-49,000, GP-As admissible

Educational Qualification: 

B.A./ B.Sc from UGC recognized University having Hindi as one of the subjects. Candidates must be UP TET qualified and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education BT/B.Ed/ DEd degree from any institution recognized by NCTE.

Assam TET Recruitment 2020 Age limit:

Age as on 01/01/2020: 

The maximum age limit of the candidate as on 01.01.2020 should not be more than 40 years. There will be relaxation by 5 years for SC and ST & 3 years for OBC/MOBC as per Government norms. Ex-Serviceman will provide an extra 10 years i.e. up to 50 years.

Important Points: 

The Candidate will be selected for the Posts of Teachers of Upper Primary Schools in the same medium of schools as per Language -1 selected in the TET for UPS.

Separate Merit lists will be prepared for Each category of Posts.

Selection Process: 

After scrutiny of applications candidates will be called for verification of their testimonials which will be intimated to them in due course of time and the select list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the following examinations)

• a) HSLC/ HSSLC Examination
• b) B.A B.Sc/ B. Com. Examination.
• c) B.Ed/D.Ed/ D.El.Ed Examination.
• d) TET Examination

There will be Viva-Voce for the candidates and apart from the marks given in the Viva-Voce additional marks will be given to the candidates having the following):

a) NCC 'C' Certificate holder and for 'B' Certificate holder.

b) Participation in recognized sports at National Level representing Assam.

c) Achievement in Fine Arts and Cultural activities representing the State Officially at National Level.

d) Local candidates will be given preference as per Govt Circular No. HAD.110/86/24 dtd. 27.08.1987

N.C. Hills Autonomous Council Court Fee Stamp of Rs. 10 (Rupees Ten)

The candidates should apply in duly filled up prescribed form of application along with all self-attested certificates, testimonials & court fee stamp to the following address on or before 25th September 2020.

The Candidate should submit the Application Form personally/through rep[renstive by Hand in the following address. The candidates are requested to collect the receipt after submission of the Application.
