AHSEC has published an official notification for SOS Assam Admission 2020 process.
Assam State Open School is decided to introduce ONLINE Admission/Registration from the "A" Block period for students who wish to join the ASOS programe of the Council. The online Admission/ Registration started from 10th August 2020 to 11th September 2020 in the AHSEC Official website is www.ahsec.nic.in/StateOpenSchool.html

SOS Assam Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
- Passed H.S.L.C or equivalent Examination with a minimum gap of 2 years from the passing of H.S.L.C. from SEBA or other recognized Boards under CBSE.
- Maximum 2 additional subjects are allowed for regular learners.
- T.O.C. (Transfer of credit) on a maximum of 2 subjects for the unsuccessful candidate of H.S. Exam.
Other Criteria:
- The student who opted the subject at the time of Admission/Registration can't be changed/altered and they may sit in the H.S. Level Examination on the opted subject only. The candidate may not select the Exam. Centre, it will be selected by the SOS Committee.
The candidate may be re-appeared in the same subject only and one chance shall be given for regular learners. But for admission in Improvement Scheme, the learner can take chance for 9 times. The necessary Fees for Improvement Scheme are to be paid by the learner at the time of Examinations.
(a) Admission Fee Rs. 1,500/- [@40% seed money (Rs. 600/-) Deducted by the ASCI
(b) Registration Fee 250/
(c) Course Fee 1,500/(d) Prospectus Fee Rs. 250/
(d) TOC Fees Rs. 250/- [Per Subject]
(e) Addl. Fee Rs. 300/- [Per Subject]
The last date of Admission for H.S. Level Examination (SOS) or filling up of online Registration for 'A' Block-2020-2021 have been fixed as noted below:
(a) The online Admission/Registration process for H.S. Level 'A' Block-2020 will be started as per the following schedule:
(i) 10th August to 11th September 2020.
(ii) Admission/Registration will be blocked on midnight of 11th September 2020
(iii) For online Admission/ Registration details visit Council website: https://www.ahsec.nic.in/StateOpenSchool.html
(iv) For the Login page please enter user ID and Password which are given by SOS through SMS to respective ASC.
(b) The last date of Admission is fixed on 11th September 2020.
(c) The Principal cum Co-ordinator of Accredited Study Center's (ASC) is requested to allow admission only for those students who have passed H.S.L.C or equivalent Examination with a minimum gap of 2 years from the passing of H.S.L.C. from SEBA or other recognized Boards under COBSE.
(d) Maximum 2 additional subjects are allowed for regular learners.
(e) T.O.C. (Transfer of credit) on a maximum of 2 subjects for the unsuccessful candidate of H.S. Exam.
