Medium of Instruction & course in the institutions : English/ CBSE
1. Graduate Teacher, Arts
No of posts: 35
Educational Qualification:
B.A/MA from recognized University with at least 50% of marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent)
Professional Qualufication
B. Ed Degree from National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) recognized institution, but degrees obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid
Other Qualification:
TET (Secondary /Adarsha Vidyalaya/ CTET) Qualified.
2. Graduate Teacher, Science
No of posts: 15
Educational Qualification:
B.Sc/M.Sc from recognized University with at least 50% of marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent)
Professional Qualufication
B. Ed Degree from National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) recognized institution, but degrees obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid
Other Qualification:
TET (Secondary /Adarsha Vidyalaya/ CTET) Qualified.
3. Graduate Teacher, Hindi
No of posts: 06
Educational Qualification:
Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and degree qualification with 50% marks
Or
Post Graduation degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized University, but degrees obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid;
OR
B.A. with 50% marks and having Hindi as one of the subjects with 50% marks or Post Graduation degree in Arts with 50% marks provided that he/she has passed B.A with one of the subjects as Hindi with 50% marks in Hindi
AND
B.Ed Degree from any recognized University (Parangat to be treated as B.Ed degree only for the purpose of Hindi Teaching), but degrees obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid and Special TET (Hindi)/ CTET Qualified.
N.B:
Candidates must secure 50% marks in Pravin /Ratna or Hindi as a subject in Degree Level.
DESIRABLE NORMS:
- Experience of Working in a CBSE affiliated/ Govt. recognized school / reputed private institutions.
- Proficiency in English and Assamese Language.

For the post of Graduate Teacher (Arts/ Science & Hindi)'
The Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates under Distance Education mode
conferred by K.K. Handique State Open University,(KKHSOU), Indira Gandhi
National Open University (IGNOU), Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL)
under Gauhati University and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University shall
be considered at par and valid with the Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates awarded
by State, Central and Private Universities duly established as per law passed by the
parliament and State Legislative and duly recognized by the University Grant
Commission

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For the post of Graduate Teacher (Arts/ Science & Hindi):
Applicants for all above categories of posts should be a permanent resident of Assam
and have good communication skills in local language'
AGE:
A candidate must be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of
age as on 1st January 2020. Relaxation of upper age limit will be applicable for SC'
ST(P), ST (H), OBC/MOfC & PH candidates as per norms of Govt' of Assam'
Age limit for RMSA Assam Recruitment 2020:
A candidate must be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 1st January 2020.
Age Relaxation:
Relaxation of upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST (P), ST (H) & PH candidates as per norms of Govt. of Assam.
Salary for RMSA Assam Recruitment 2020
Rs.14,000/- to 49,000/- (PB-II) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/- only
Application Fee for RMSA Assam Recruitment 2020:
For the post of GRADUATE TEACHER (ARTS/SCIENCE/HINDI) an application fee will be required as follows:
- All Other: Rs. 200/- only
- SC/ ST/PH candidates Rs.100/- only
Application Fee Mode:
Demand Draft in favor of Mission Director, RMSA, Assam payable at Guwahati.

1. H.S.L.C: Admit Card, Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
2. H.S.S: Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
3. B.A / B.Sc: Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
4. M.A/M.Sc Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate (if available).
5. B. Ed Degree: Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
6. TET Pass Certificate / Copy of the statement of marks for Special Adarsha Vidyalaya TET
7. Passport size photograph and Specimen Signature.
8. Certificates in support of Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe (Plains or Hills)/ OBC/ MOBC
9. Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities from competent
authority like Social Welfare Deptt., Health & FW Deptt. etc.
10. Physically Handicapped candidates having supporting certificate may apply.
11. Certificate of NCC (B & C certificate), Sports and Cultural ( representing State or Nation).
12. Teaching Experience Certificate (if any).
