Minority Scholarship Assam 2020 announced by the Ministry of Minority Affairs and Assam Minorities Development Board invited Online applications for the Pre-Matric Scholarship for 2020-21  for Minority students. The minority category students i.e. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain, and Zoroastrians (Parsis) can apply for the Ministry of Minority Affairs Scholarships who fulfill the eligibility criteria and other selection criteria for the Ministry of Minority Affairs Scholarships 2020-21. • Who is offering this Minority Scholarship 2020?

-The scholarship is being offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.

• Who can apply for this scholarship?

The student of Minority communities (Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Zoroastrian (Parsis), Muslim and Christian).

• If I am a Private School Student Can I apply for Minority Scholarship 2020-21?

Yes, The applicant should be pursuing studies in India in Government or recognized Private Institute/ School

• If Any Student read in Class 9 Can she/he is eligible for Apply?

Yes, Pre-Matric Scholarship will be awarded to the students of Class I to X who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination. The course being pursued should be of Minimum one-year duration.

• Is there a relation to Parents Income with Scholarship Apply eligibility?

The annual income of students' parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh. The scholarship will not be given to more than two students from a family.

• How can I apply for a Minority scholarship?

How to Assam Minority Scholarship Online Apply

• Visit the official Scholarship website of ministry of Minority Affairs scholarships.gov.in
• Click on the Ministry of Minority Affairs go to the direct link provided for each scholarship category
• The fresh scholarship application, click on new applicant registration and fill details.
• Enter the verification code and click on the register. 
• Now user application id will be generated for login.

Notes for the Applicants:-

• Applicants are advised to apply online against the scholarship scheme on the website of National Scholarship Portal at www.scholarships.gov.in (a link to the site is also available at www.minorityaffairs.gov.in) or Mobile App-National Scholarships (NSP).

• The applicant is advised to give only that bank account details which should active or compliant as per bank’s instructions so that payment of Scholarship does not fail.

Notes for Institutes/Schools

• All Institutes/Schools, where a minority student is studying, should get themselves registered (if not done earlier) on National Scholarship Portal by 30th November 2020. 
• It is mentioned here that, the institutional Head will keep the Online application (Hard copy) along with supporting documents from the students. 
• The Online applications from the students will log in to the Institute and verify/approve the Online applications and submit the verified list with seal and Signature to this District Nodal Officer on or before 15th December 2020.
