Pay: Pay level 14 A ( Rs  1,59,100 – 2,20,200 plus admissible allowances )

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Ph.D. in an appropriate branch covering any one of the subjects of Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Economics, or related subjects in natural and social sciences; a first-class or equivalent in the degree preceding the PhD degree with a very good academic record throughout.
• Should have at least 10 years (relaxable in exceptional cases) of post-Ph.D. research/teaching/ industrial experience.
• Preferably should have experience in administration.
