Period of Deputation:
Initially for three years, could be extended to another 2 years as per extant rules prescribed by Recruitment Rules and provisions thereby Rules & Regulations & Bylaws of NECTAR.

Job Description:
The Advisor (Technical) will be one of the Senior Technical Officer having domain expert will head the Division whose function shall involve Technology Assessment, policy & planning in the field of geospatial technologies, communications, bamboo, food processing and allied technology sectors. She/he will be responsible for overall functioning of the division and implementation of associated projects/activities of NECTAR.
The Advisor (Technical) will be one of the Senior Technical Officer having domain expert will head the Division whose function shall involve Technology Assessment, policy & planning in the field of geospatial technologies, communications, bamboo, food processing and allied technology sectors. Educational Qualifications :
Doctorate in Bio-Technology/ Forestry/ Agro Forestry/Botany/ Geo-Informatics / horticulture/ Food Processing or equivalent from a recognized University OR ME/M.Tech. in Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electronics & Communications/ Instrumentation/ Geo-Informatics/ Geospatial Technologies/ Food Processing or equivalent from a recognized University.
Doctorate in Bio-Technology/ Forestry/ Agro Forestry/Botany/ Geo-Informatics / horticulture/ Food Processing or equivalent from a recognized University OR ME/M.Tech. in Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electronics & Communications/ Instrumentation/ Geo-Informatics/ Geospatial Technologies/ Food Processing or equivalent from a recognized University.
Essential Experience :
14 years for those holding M.Tech Degree and 15 years for those holding other Master Degrees in technology applications in the areas of geospatial technologies, communication, bamboo products, food products and allied areas.
