Assam FREE Admission 2020 

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Assam has decided to conduct Online admissions to all the educational institutions i.e., the state universities, government colleges, and technical institutions for the 2020-21 academic session.  In view of the above notification, the secondary education department has notified that willing colleges, senior secondary schools, and higher secondary schools can use common software available on the SEBA (Board of Secondary Education, Assam) website from 15th June 2020 onwards for admission into class XI. The candidates are required to upload the scanned documents on the website of the concerned institution.

Assam HS Online Admission 2020 for Higher Secondary 1st year classes will be completed through “Anneswan“, the common portal for online HS admission, now available on SEBA’s official website sebaonline.org & anneswan.sebaonline.org/

The principals of colleges, HS schools and senior secondary schools, willing to avail this facility, can register for the same in online mode.

Important Note

Please keep in mind that, some educational institutes or colleges may not use “Anneswan” portal; rather they may use their own online admission portal. So, one should better visit the official websites of the institute/s concerned regarding this.

SEBA Anneswan Portal Registration for Institutions:

Step 1: 

Please login to the system using the username and password supplied to you. username is your Institution Code (AHSEC) and a password will be supplied to you by DPO, SSA/ Member Secretary of SEBA Regional Office.

Step 2: Update the required information before making the portal live for students.

Step 3: 

Once you update the information and check the “GO LIVE” option and then press the SAVE button, your institution will be marked available for students and students will be able to select your institution while making online application.

Step 4: 

If your institution is not affiliated to AHSEC yet, please ask DPO, SSA/ Member Secretary of SEBA Regional Office to create your account in the portal and get the temporary Institutional Code and Password.

Step 5: 

Please note that, if your institution offers courses in multiple streams, then you will get the different passwords for each stream and may have to register multiple times for each stream.

Assam HS Admission 2020 Application Process

This section is only for students who want to apply for online admission into HS 1st year courses.

• Visit the SEBA portal called “Anneswan”
• Enter your HSLC Roll No, Marks, and other credentials.
• Choose your course, college, and other details.
• Upload your scanned mark sheet, admit card, and other relevant details.

Admission Process

• After the deadline, a merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the HSLC examination.
• Accordingly you can take admission into your desired institutes.

How to HS Online Admission at SEBA Anneswan

Step 1: Login using your HSLC/AHM 2020 Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card)

Step 2: Select your institute and fill up the online form.

Step 3: Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and necessary documents.

Step 4: Take a print out of the filled up form, and keep for future reference.

Step 5: Please do check the portal regularly for updates. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission.

Note: The educational institutions having their own online admission system may carry on with their existing online system.

Assam HS Online Admission 2020 Fees

The entire Assam HS 2020 admission process will be FREE. Assam Government, Education Dept has already issued the official order regarding waiving off all fees due for admission and other categories at the educational institutes starting from Higher Secondary to PG level irrespective of the income category of parents.

Assam HS Admission 2020 Important Dates

• Colleges register date with SEBA for the online admission process 15th June 2020.

• Online application portal for Students 20-06-2020 

• The online admission portal will be closed on 30/06/2020.

• Institution wise merit list will be published on 01/07/2020.

The list of selected students as published in the admission portal will be available in the respective College Website accordingly.

The students must provide Bank Account detail with IFSC Code.
