Vacancy details 

1. Project Assistant
No of Post: 1

Essential Qualifications :
B.F.Sc./B.V.Sc./B.Sc.(Agriculture and allied)/B.Sc

Desirable Qualifications :
Experience in handling molecular works/statistical software and proficiency in computer will be preferred.

Emoluments/Month  : Rs 12000

2. SRF
No of Post: 3

Essential Qualifications :
M.F.Sc. in Fisheries Resource Management, Fish Nutrition, Fish Genetics and Biotechnology, Aquatic Environment Management. OR M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Fisheries/M. Sc.in Life Sciences with a specialization in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology.

Desirable Qualifications :

Candidate with work experience in Genetic characterization, Barcoding, Taxonomy will be preferred.

Emoluments/Month:
Rs 25000 with 10% HRA for 1st and 2nd year & Rs 28000 with 10% HRA from 3rd year onwards.

Development of Breeding Technology and Culture System of Selected Threatened Fish Species of Assam

Vacancy details :

• Project Assistant : 2
• SRF : 2

Essential Qualifications :

• Project Assistant : B.F.Sc./B.V.Sc./B.Sc.(Agriculture and allied)/B.Sc. in Zoology
• SRF : M.F.Sc. in any discipline OR M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Fisheries/M. Sc.in Life Sciences with specialization in Fish Breeding, culture and reproductive biology

Desirable Qualifications :

• Project Assistant : Experience in handling fish breeding and culture works/statistical software and proficiency in computer will be preferred.
• SRF : Candidate with work experience in Aquaculture, Fish breeding and reproductive biology will be preferred.

Emoluments/Month  :

• Project Assistant: Rs 12000
• SRF :Rs 25000 with 10% HRA for 1st and 2nd year & Rs 28000 with 10% HRA from 3rd year onwards

Application Fee:

Candidates have to deposit an IPO of Rs. 50.00 (Rupees Fifty Only/Rs.25.00 (Rupees Twenty Five Only) for SC/ST candidates, drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-785103 at the time of interview.
