Anundoram Borooah Award 2019 Distribution Date started from 12th June 2020 as announced by the Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The Students from HSLC 2019 will get Laptop at their School. The HSLC passed Candidate in 2020 with 75% will be invited for Apply online @ Arbas.Assam.Gov.in by AMTRON for the Anundoram Borooah Award 2020 Distribution & will be awarded within 30th August 2020 HSLC laptop distribution date 2020.

Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme details: 

Anundoram Borooah Award citation in form of a Certificate along with a Laptop Computer Internet Connectivity through 3G/4G device with 2 (Two) years subscriptions, Books on all subject as per NCERT course in PDF format and Digital Content (2D/3D Animation, Audio/Video ) for each stream and On-line Coaching and Score Improvement System (OLCSIS) for Science Students is considered.

APPLICATION FOR CASH IN LIEU OF LAPTOP / COMPUTER

Eligibility Criteria: 
The Students securing Star Mark and above in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination/High Madrassa Examination/ F.M. Examination and Sanskrit Pali & Pravesika Examination, Assam during the year 2019 are eligible for the Scheme.

Under Anundoram Barooah Award students with distinction & star marks in HSLC exams are rewarded with a computer every year. This year, instead of a laptop, they shall get Rs 20,000 in their bank accounts in DBT mode. They're free to purchase computers of their choice.

How to apply for the Anundoram Borooah Award 2020

All eligible students who are qualified to avail the award may register online through the portal http://arbas.assam.gov.in.

Documents needed for Apply Online

• Pass Certificate duly attested and countersigned by the Head of the Institution from which the applicant passed out in PDF file format.
• A self-attested passport size photograph of the applicant in JPG file format.

Data Needed for Registration :

During on-line registration for filling up the datasheet students need to submit their primary information like name, mobile number, father/guardian's name etc. Further, they have to upload the Pass Certificate duly attested and countersigned by the Head of the Institution from which the applicant passed out in PDF file format and a self-attested passport size photograph of the applicant in JPG file format.

Kindly go through the following instructions carefully before proceeding:

• Star or Distinctions holders in the HSLC/AHM Examination, 2020 are eligible to login and apply through this portal. However, if you are unable to login in spite of being eligible, kindly contact the given helpline numbers, or you can also visit SEBA office with your details.

• Make sure that you type the Roll and Number correctly as per your Admit Card. Also, enter your Date of Birth (DoB) using the calendar tool. The DoB should exactly match with your Admit Card.

• Candidates should have a Bank Account in his/her name (As per your Admit Card). Bank account in any other name or identity will not be accepted.

• Kindly keep a scanned image of the front page of your Bank Passbook with you. The scanned image should have your name account number, IFSC, and photograph clearly visible.

• Before submission please make sure that Bank Details are correct.

The students availing the award are requested to follow the instructions available along with the application form before submitting the application online through http://arbas.assam.gov.in

What is The Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme?

For the last few years, the Government of Assam has been conferring the prestigious Anundoram Borooah Award with citation in the form of a certificate along with a personal computer(PC) to honour the meritorious students securing Star Marks and above in the HSLC, High Madrassa and FM Examinations conducted by SEBA and State Madrassa Education Board, Assam.

The Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme was launched by the Govt. of Assam in the year 2005 with the sole aim of enhancing healthy competition amongst the student community and to help them to enrich their perception through up-to-date knowledge and information with the help of IT education. In this age of globalization, Information Technology already has significantly altered many aspects of life and in recent years this robust field has made its place into the academic curriculum of schools and colleges up to the university level. Therefore, looking at the present scenario of the innate potentialities of the IT industry, the Government of Assam has made an effort to promote IT education through this unique scheme.
