RIMC Entrance Exam Notice

The last date to apply for RIMC Admission 2021 has been postponed. Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) offers admission in the 8th standard to the boy's candidates only. Admission will be granted for the two sessions ( January and July). The last date to submit the application form is 15th June 2020. RIMC has also postponed the exam dates which were th originally scheduled on June 1 and 2. The revised dates would be announced later.

RIMC Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The boys who are interested in taking admission in this college, they have to ensure their eligibility criteria. It is very important to know about the eligibility. If not then your candidature can be cancelled. Look at the below to know about the eligibility criteria in detail:

• Only boys are eligible to apply for admission to the RIMC Dehradun
• The candidate should either be studying in Class 7th or passed Class 7th from any recognized school.
• Candidates (boys only) appearing for the above test should not be less than 11½ years in age but should not have attained the age of 13 years.

RIMC Admission 2021 Application Form

The prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained from The Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin- 248003. The application form can be obtained from the college itself. by following methods.

Online Payment: 

The prospectus cum application form and booklet of the old question papers can also be obtained by making payment Rs. 600/- for General Candidates Rs. 555/- for SC/ST candidates from RIMC website. On receipt of the payment you will get all things through speed post only.

By Sending Demand Draft: 

Candidates have to send the written request with a DD of Rs. 600/- for General Candidates Rs. 555/- for SC/ST candidates along with cast certificate. The demand draft is made in favour of “The Commandant RIMC Dehradun”, Drawee branch, State Bank of India, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun (Band Code-01576), Uttarakhand. The address should be typed or written clearly in the capital letters with the pin code and contact number.

Documents to be attached with the application form:

• The candidate must have two copies of the application form.
• Two passport size photographs
• Domicile Certificate of the candidate
• Birth Certificate
• SC/ST Certificate
• Certificate from the principle in original with photograph on it attested stating date of birth and in which class the students are studying
  

RIMC Entrance Exam June 2020 Important Dates

• Last Date of Receipt of Application Form 31st March 2020

• Date of 8th Class Admission Test 01st  & 02nd June 2020

• Date of Interview for qualified candidates in the Written Exam 06th October 2020

Selection Procedure

Rashtriya Indian Military College shall prepare the Final Select List based on the Merit of the Students based on their respective Performance and Total Marks both in the NIMC / RIMC Entrance Test and Personal Interview / Viva-voce for admission at the Rashtriya Indian Military College.
