Applications are invited by IIT Guwahati for Recruitment of Project Vacancy in Various Department @iitg.ac.in.Applications are invited for an Online interview for contractual JRF post in the project entitled, “Experimental and Computational Analyses of Flow-induced Heat Transfer Deterioration in Supercritical Natural Circulation Loop” to be executed at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Guwahati.




1. JRF (GATE)

Department: Mechanical Engineering Dept.

No of posts:- 1 (One)

Educational Qualification:- 

BE/ BTech in Mechanical Engg. with a valid GATE score.

Salary:- Rs. 37,210/- per month.

Candidates must send a mail to the principal investigator dnbasu@iitg.ac.in expressing his/her desire to appear in the interview, within 24.05.2020. The mail must accompany his/her updated CV, giving details of all educational qualifications, experience, contact address, phone no., Email, etc. Scanned copies of all relevant documents must also be attached to the mail.

The mode of the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates on 25.05.2020. The Online interview will be held on 26.05.2020 (Tuesday).

2. JRF (GATE) 

Department: Biosciences & Bioengineering

No of posts:- 1 (One)

Educational Qualification:- 

B.E./ B.Tech/ M.E./ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering with GATE score. Knowledge of CAD, FE packages like Ansys, and/or any image processing module will be desirable. Some understanding of Biomechanics will be an additional advantage.

Salary:- Rs. 37,210/- per month.

Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.

3.Post-Doctoral Position

Department: Physics

No of posts:- 1 (One)

Educational Qualification:- 

Ph.D. in Particle Physics, or at least have successfully defended the thesis.

Salary:- Monthly salary for the position is Rs. 50,000/- with additional HRA (Rs. 8000) and medical benefits (Rs. 1250).
