HSLC Examination or its equivalent examination passed.

Other Essential Qualification: 
6 (six) months Recorders Certificate Class Course Training from the Assam Survey and Settlement Training Centre Dakhingaon, Guwahati and having Certificate of R.C.C.C 
Training.

Age limit: 
Age of the Candidates on 01.01.2020 shall be between 18 (eighteen) years minimum and the upper age must not exceed 38 (thirty-eight) years. The upper age is relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC and 10 (ten) years for PWD category candidates.

* The name of the candidates must be registered in any Employment Exchange of Assam and the details of the valid registration are to be furnished along with the application form with copy of the employment registration card.

* The candidates already in service should apply through proper channels ensuring that their application reaches this office on or before the last date of submission of application.

How to apply for Settlement Officer Cachar Recruitment 2020 

The application in Standard Form as prescribed in Part-IX of Assam Gazette should be addressed to the submitted in sealed envelope to the following address:-

 “Settlement Officer, Cachar and Hailakandi Districts, Silchar, P.O-Silchar, P.S-Silchar, PIN-788001" 

The candidate may deposit/submit the application at the office of the Settlement Officer, Cachar, and Hailakandi Districts, Silchar, PWD Road, Silchar-1 during office hours on working days or send by post as per the postal address as given above.

Self-attested copies of academic and RCC Certificate mark sheet, Caste Certificate and other testimonials along with 2 (two) copies of recent passport size colored photograph and one self-addressed envelope affixing postage stamp of Rs. 5/- (size 24cm X 10cm) along with the application should be submitted in one envelope with the superscription on the top of the envelope “Application for the post of Addl. Patwari in Settlement Office, Cachar and Hailakandi Districts, Silchar and the “Category viz UR/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC and MOBC.
