Examination Name: Joint CSIR UGC NET JUNE 2020

Educational Qualification: 

M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.

Age:

(a) JRF: Maximum 28 years as on 01.01.2020 {upper age limit may be relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability(PwD)/ female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) applicants}.

(b) Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the next Joint CSIR-UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor on 21 June 2020 for following subjects:

1. Life Sciences

2. Physical Sciences

3. Chemical Sciences

4. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences

5. Mathematical Sciences

Application Fee:

* General/ General-EWS: Rs. 1000/-

* OBC-Non Creamy Layer: Rs. 500/-

* SC/ST/ PwD: Rs. 250/-

* Fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net-Banking/ UPI.

How to apply for CSIR UGC NET June 2020 Notification

The eligible candidates may apply online at csirnet.nta.nic.in between 16 March 2020 -15 April 2020 (upto 11.50 pm).

• Starting Date to Apply Online: 16-03-2020
• Last Date to Apply Online: 16-05-2020 (upto 11:50 pm) 30-05-2020
• Last date of successful transaction of fee: 16-04-2020 (upto 11:50 pm)
• Correction in Particulars of Application Form on website only: 18 to 24-04-2020
• Downloading of Admit Cards from NTA website: 15-05-2020
• Date of Examination: 21-06-2020
• Release of Score on NTA website: By 2nd Week of July, 2020
