Post Name: Field Officer (Disaster Management)

No. of positions: 1
Job Duration: 1 Year Contract

Age limit: Minimum 21 years and above 35 years as on the 1st day of January 2020, relaxable in case of SC/ST candidates as per Govt. of Assam rules.

Essential Qualification:

(i) Bachelor degree in Science or with Statistics, Geography, Environmental Science or Geology as a subject or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture from a recognized University/Institution

(ii) Computer skills especially MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Internet usage/Emails. Preference will be given to candidates having done BCA or equivalent course on computer science.

Remuneration: 
An amount of Rs. 20,000/- will be paid as fixed and consolidated monthly remuneration which includes:

Pay: Rs. 15,000/-
Mobility Allowance: Rs. 4,000/-
Telephone charges: Rs.1,000/-

Period of Engagement: 
The contract will initially be for a period of one year subject to renewal on the basis Of performance appraisal.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
To assist the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) & Circle Officer in various Disaster Management activities and to perform any other duties & responsibilities assigned to him/her by Assam State Disaster Management Authority from time to time.


Selection Process: 
\The applicant will have to appear for a written test/computer test/interview at the venue, date and time as decided and directed by the Authority at their own cost.
