Vacancy details for DC Hojai Recruitment 2020

Age limit: 
Minimum 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2020. Upper age limits are relaxable as per Govt rule.


1.Stenographer (Grade-III): 
No of positions 01 Post

Educational Qualification 

• Degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government or a Degree equivalent thereto and recognized by the Government.
• He/ She must have a good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent) of any operating system i.e MS Windows, Linux, Mac Etc. such as word processor, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, the concept of database, internet, e-mail, etc . 
• Candidates must possess a minimum 6(Six) months Diploma in Computer Application/ knowledge along with a Diploma in Stenography from institutes recognized by the Government.

2. Junior Assistant
No of positions: 6

Educational Qualification

• Degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government or a Degree equivalent thereto and recognized by the Government.
• He/ She must have a good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent) of any operating, system i.e. MS Windows, Linux, Mac Etc. such as word processor, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, concept of database, internet, e-mail etc. 
• Candidates must possess a minimum 6(Six) months Diploma in Computer Application from institutes recognized by the Government

Pay Scale: 

There is two different pay scale for these two posts, below we mentioned.

• Stenographer (Grade-III): Pay Band-2 Rs.14,000 to Rs.49,000 with Grade Pay of 7,400/-
• Junior Assistant: Pay Band-2 Rs.14,000 to Rs.49,000 with Grade Pay of 5,600/-

Age Limit: 
Candidates age must need to be between 21 years to 38 years as on 1st January 2020. Upper age relaxation will be as below given.

• For OBC/ MOBC candidates: 3 Years
• For SC/ST candidates: 5 Years
• For persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 Years irrespective of SC/ ST/ OBC and General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification No. 144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th October 2015

The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognized Board/ Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

Nationality: Only Citizen of India is eligible for this recruitment.

Application Fee: 
Applicants of this recruitment need to pay an amount of money as application fee through the Treasury Challan.

• SC/ST Candidates: Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only)
• PWD Candidates: Nil (Exempted from Fee)
• Other Candidates: Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only)

The fee should be paid in Treasury under the Head of Account “0070” – Other Administrative Services etc.
