Age limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years respectively as on 05-08-2019 the date of notification of the vacancies.
Permissible relaxation in Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.

Minimum Educational Qualification (for all the posts):
- HSLC/10th Examination Passed with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) from any recognized Board.
- Compulsory knowledge of Local Language:
The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects] as declared by the State Government or as per constitutional provisions relating to the 8th schedule of Constitution of India.
- The candidates should have a Basic Computer Training Course Certificate of at least 60 days duration from any recognized Computer Training Institute. However, the requirement of a basic computer knowledge certificate will be relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied Computer as a subject in Matriculation or Class XII or any other higher educational level.
- The candidates should have knowledge of Cycling.
Monthly Pay:
BPM:- Rs.12,000/- to Rs.14,500/-
ABPM and Dak Sevak.:- Rs.10,000/- to Rs.12,000/-
Selection Process :
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Educational Qualification. The Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of India Post, Assam Circle
India Post Recruitment 2019 Application Fee:
UR/OBC/EWS Male Candidate: Rs.100/- as Application Fee.
SC/ST/PWD & All Category Female Candidate:- NIL
Fee can be paid through Post Office or Online mode during submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available

Steps for Registration
Stage 1. Registration Initially candidate has to register in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain a unique registration number
Following basic details needs to obtain the Registration Number:-
i) Name (In capital letter as per X class certificate Marks Memo including spaces)
ii) Father Name
iii) Mobile Number (Unique for one Registration number)
iv) Date of Birth
v) Gender
vi) Community
vii) PH – Type of Disability – (HH/OH/VH)- Percentage of disability
viii) State in which Xth class passed
ix) Board in which Xth class passed
x) Year of Passing Xth class
xi) Xth Class Certificate Number / Roll Number (optional)
xii) Scanned Photo & Signature.
Stage 2. Fee Payment UR/OBC/EWS Male needs to make the fee payment. Offline payments can be made at any Head Post Office. List of Post Offices
