Vacancy details for RFRI Jorhat Recruitment 2019

1. Multi-Tasking Staff
No of posts: 12 (8-Unreserved, 1-ST, 2-OBC, 1-EWS)

Age limit: 
Minimum 18 years or exceeding 27 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.

Educational Qualification: 

• HSLC/ 10th class pass from a recognized board/school.
• 3 years or more experience in relevant trade.

Pay: Pay Level-1; Rs. 18,000-56,900

2. Technician (Maintenance)
No of posts: 3 [Electrician, Plumber, Bamboo Worker]
 
Pay: Pay Level-2; Rs. 19,900-63,200

Age limit: Minimum 18 years or exceeding 30 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.

Educational Qualification: 
HSLC/ Matriculation from a recognized board with ITI certificate in relevant trade or certificate course from Govt. recognized institute.

3. Technical Assistant
No of posts: 8 [Chemistry: 2, Botany: 1, Zoology: 1, Agriculture: 2, Forestry: 2], (UR: 3, SC: 2, OBC: 2, EWS: 1)

Pay: Pay Level-5; Rs. 29,200-92,300

Age limit: Minimum 18 years or exceeding 30 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.

Educational Qualification: 
Bachelor's degree in Science in the relevant field/ specialization or equivalent from a recognized University.

The venue of written test: The test shall be conducted at Jorhat, Agartala, and Aizawl.


Application Fee: 
Non- refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred) only from any nationalized Bank in favour of Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat.

Persons With Disabilities (PWD) and Female candidates are exempted from payment of fees. 

SC/ST candidates who apply against the vacancy of their respective quota are also exempted from payment of fees. Relaxation in fees is not applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved posts.

Update as on 18/12/2019:

1. The last date of receipt of applications is extended upto 23/12/2019 due to non-functioning of Post Office and Bank owing to disturbance/bandh and imposition of curfew in Assam between 9th December 2019 and 14th December, 2019.


2. The candidates who are unable to produce Demand Draft due to closure of banks, may deposit the application fees of Rs.200/- in cash with the Cashier along with application.
