• Sanskrit – 1, UR(PWD) (Roster point No.1)

Educational Qualification: 
Minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent Grade Point Scale) at the Master’s Degree level in the concerned subject and must have cleared the NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC/CSIR.

Candidates who are awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided for SC/ST/PWD candidates. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to the Ph.D. holders, who have obtained their Master Degree prior to 19.09.1991. (As per Govt O.M. No.AHE.407/2017/44 dated 08-11-2018)

Pay: UGC scale of pay (Academic level 10) and other allowances as per rule.

Age limit: Maximum 38 years as on 01.01.2019 and relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.

- Candidates have to acquire qualification as on the last date of the submission of application.
- Eligibility like M.Phil/Ph.D./Seminar Papers/Publications be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond.
- In service, candidates have to apply through proper channel with a NOC from the concerned authority.
- Candidate must have a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know the local language.
