Educational Qualification:
Matriculation from a recognized Board or University with Diploma in Mechanical Engg. from a recognised Institution with two years experience in a weaving factory or Workshop manufacturing of Handlooms, jacquard and accessories, after acquiring Diploma .

• The qualification is relaxable at the discretion of the Competent authority in the case of candidate otherwise well qualified, Note-2: The qualification(s) regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe if at any state of selection, the Competently Authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy deserved for them.

Nature of duties: 
The nature of duties is fully technical. He should take close watch of overall maintenance of the workshop and miscellaneous works of the Institute.


Selection Procedure
Written and practical test which will be conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee. 

However, if the number of applications received for the post is large, then the appointing authority reserves the right to lay down any criteria for the propose of the shortlisting of the candidates for selection tests.
