Educational Qualification:
- H.S.L.C. Examination passed or equivalent from a recognized Board/ Council of Government of Assam.
- A candidate must possess a valid Driving License (Cab).
Age limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum of 44 as on 01-01-2019. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC and 5 (five) years for SC/ ST candidates. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation / H SLC Admit Card / Certificate issued by a recognized Board / Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.
Pay: Pay Band 14.000 — 49,000 /- plus Grade Pay of 5,200 /- plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
Application Fee: NIL.
Assam Secretariat Driver Recruitment 201 Selection Mode:
Phase-I:
Written Test on Driving knowledge on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals to be held at Guwahati on the date to be notified later on. The Driving knowledge on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals will be of 100 marks.
Phase-II:
Against each vacancy four candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Test on Driving knowledge on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals.
The shortlisted candidates will have to appear along with all original testimonials in the Driving Skill Test to be held at Guwahati to be notified later on. The Driving Skill Test will be of 100 marks.

The applicants are advised to submit only a single application. However, if due to any unavoidable situation he/she submits another multiple application, he/she will ensure that the application with the higher Registration Number is completed in all respect which will be accepted by the Secretariat Administration (Estt.) Department, Vehicle Cell.
