Eligibility Criteria :
Mandatory
- Should be retired Army Officer of the rank of Colonel/ Col (TS)/ Lt Colonel. (ii) Should be between 54 to 60 years of age at the time of joining. Age relaxation upto 62 years may be considered in case of outstanding candidates. (iii) Should have experience of handling finances and legal issues.
- Should have no discipline case during entire service.
- CO/21C of maj unit or AEC Officers Principal Sainik/ Mililitary School.
Preferred
(i) Should be SHAPE-I (Medically). Low Medical Category officers, other than on `S' factor may be considered.
(ii) Should preferably have experience/ background of having handled educational Institutions.
(iii) Should be IT Savvy.
(iv) Should preferably be graduate of Defence Services Staff College. Non Psc officers may also be considered.
(v) Should have experience in handling of works / construction projects.
(c) Officer who has taken premature retirement can be considered if working/worked in education institute for administrative duties.
(d) The appointment shall be on term basis for three years contract, which will include first one year of probation.
(e) AEC officers who have been Principals of Sainik Schools/ Military Schools are eligible.
Salary:
Consolidated 80,000/- per month with annual increment @ 3% after successful completion of every year in service.
