UGC NET December 2019 Notification
UGC NET December 2019 Notification published which is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) On behalf of UGC. For determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Colleges for Humanity subjects the NET examination will be held on December 2019. All intersted candidates should Apply Online from 9th September 2019 at ugcnet.nta.nic.in , ntc.ac.in to 9th October 2019.

UGC NET December 2019 Notification details
Age limit:
Maximum 30 years. A relaxation up to 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories and to women applicants. No age limit for Assistant Professor test.
Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree with 55% marks (without rounding off) in OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.
The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
National Testing Agency (NTA):
National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) as a premier, specialist, autonomous and self-sustained testing organization to conduct entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions.
National Eligibility Test (NET):
On behalf of UGC, the National Eligibility Test (NET) will be conducted between 2nd December 2019 and 6th December 2019 by National Testing Agency (NTA) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & Eligibility for Assistant Professor.
The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR Eligibility for Assistant Professor only depends on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of NET in aggregate. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor are not to be considered for award of JRF.
Candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Assistant Professor are governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned universities/colleges/state governments, as the case may be.
UGC NET Exam Date 2019
The NTA will conduct the next UGC NET from 02-12-2019 to 06-12-2019. The Test will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. The test will consist of two papers having 50 and 100 questions having 100 and 200 marks respectively.UGC NET December 2019 Application Fee:

OBC : ₹500/-
SC/ST/PWD: ₹250/- to be paid online.
