Age limit: Maximum 35 years on the date of the interview.

1. Research Associate
No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification:

• M.A. in Linguistics/ Anthropology/ English with 'Linguistics' specialization.
• Ph.D. in Linguistics.

Ph.D. ill any of the following areas of specialization:
a) Maintenance and Revitalization of Endangered Languages, 
b) Field Linguistics, 
c) Sociolinguistics, 
d) Lexicography, 
e) Functional Linguistics

Desirable: Having worked on indigenous languages of Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland. Native speakers of the indigenous languages of Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland will be preferred.

Pay: Rs. 30,000/- PM; Fixed

2. Field Assistant
No of posts: 3

Educational Qualification: 
M.A. in Linguistics 1 Anthropology 1 English with 'Linguistics' specialization.

Desirable: 
Having worked on indigenous languages of Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland. Native speakers of indigenous languages of Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland will be preferred.

Pay: Rs. 18,000/- PM; Fixed

Candidates who do not register his/ her name by 12/09/2019 shall not be interviewed. Eligible candidates so registered shall appear before the concerned Selection Committee as per the above schedule with all testimonials in origin. The candidates will also be required to submit a signed copy of the detailed biodata/ CV as stated above and a set of self-attested photocopies of all the supporting documents at the time of the interview.
