invited from the intending srudents of Assam who fulfill the following general
criteria for the above mentioned scholarship schemes.

Amount of Scholarship: The Degree students will get Rs 300/- per month, and the Master Degree students will get Rs 500/- per month during the academic session 2019-2020.


Eligibility Criteria :

• The minimum qualifying marks to apply for the scholarship shall be 60% in Higher Secondary for those who apply for Combined Merit Degree Scholarship scheme

• 60% in General Degree (TDC) for those who apply for Combined Merit Master Degree Scholarship scheme

• Students pursuing General Degree and Master's Degree course in Arts,/Science/ Commerce discipline in any recognized institution for the session 2018-2019 are eligible for the schemes.
• The student must be a domicile of Assam (PRC document mandatory)
• The Students must have valid (up to date) Bank Account in their name (Preferably in SBI and details to be submitted along with the application (Bank Name, A/c Number, Branch Name, IFSC Code)
• The scholarship shall be disbursed through the DBT system to the beneficiaries.
• The Candidate should possess the relevant qualification from any recognized Institution.
• Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit in all cases and also to be restricted as per budget allocation.

Application Form : 

• The Registrar/Principal/ Head of the Institution is to submit the documents (Hard copies of the online form along with aII relevant certificates/testimonials) to the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam, Kahlllpara, Guwahati - 781 019 under his seal and signature on or before 10th October 2019 positively.

What are the documents required for the Scholarship Online Apply 2019?

• PRC from DC/ S.D.O. as Proof of Domicile of State of Assam (Mandatory).
• Certificate from the Registrar/Head of the Institution in which the candidate is at present studying (Mandatory).
• Certificate from Research Guide/ Copy of Admission receipt.
• Final mark sheet of last qualifying examinations (i.e. U.G/ P.G).
• Photograph and Signature of the candidate.

How to apply for the Scholarship Award for "Differently Abled" Students?

Candidate must submit their details before 30-09-2010 online at www.directorateofhighereducation.assam.gov.in in between 12th September to 30th September 2019 and take printout after online final submission and submit it to. The Registrar/Principal/ Head of the Institution.

• The Head Master/Principal.of the concerned school will check and verify the details and submit the applications to Director of Higher Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19 before 10-10-2019.

Timeline:

• The last date of submission of the Apply Online is 30-09-2019.
• The Principal/Headmaster/Superintendent of the concerned school should verify the Application Form and submit the same to the Director of Higher Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19, within 10/10/2019.
• The Principal/Headmaster/Superintendent has to countersign the Application Form after proper scrutiny.
