Job Location:
Office of the Project Director, Assam State AIDS Control Society,
Khanapara, Guwahati-22
Essential qualification-
Any medical/BHMS/BAMS/BDS or B. Pharma graduate
Desirable-
Public Health graduate; postgraduate in Paediatrics, OB&GY or Community
Medicine
Experience
Minimum 2-years field experience HIV/AIDS/MCH program/project management at state/
regional level, with professional knowledge of Reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child health
is essential.
Other Criteria:
- Familiarity with theory and practical applications and essentials of NACP/PPTCT/EMTCT.
- Good negotiation and influencing skills supported by excellent communication skills.
- High level of computer proficiency with specific familiarity with commonly used Windows and MS Office software and database software
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment with strong facilitation skills, ability to analyze reports, plan and monitor projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills in English and Hindi.
- Knowledge of Assamese and or Bengali would be an added advantage.
Duration of Contract:
Period of the contract initially up to 31st December 2019 which may be further extended depending on the availability of funds from the donor agency.
Honorarium:
The State PPTCT Consultant will be paid honorarium at par with the market rate
Official Travel involved (itinerary and duration)
10 to 12 days in a month within Assam state, with focus on Aspirational districts and selected HPDs.
