Age limit as on 01-01-2020:

• Central Water Commission: Maximum 32 years
• Other organization/ department (s): Maximum 30 years

Permissible relaxation in the upper age limit is as per GOI rules.

Educational Qualification:
Central Water Commission: Degree or Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

CPWD: Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
MES: Degree in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University;

OR

(a) Three years Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and
(b) Two years experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of concerned Engineering works.

Farakka Barrage Project: Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
Border Roads Organization, Ministry of Defence: Degree in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University;

OR

(a) Three years Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and
(b) Two years of working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of concerned Engineering works.
Central Water Power Research Station: Diploma in the concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute.
Directorate of Quality Assurance, (Naval): Degree in the concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute;
or
(a) Three years Diploma in the concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized University or Institution plus
(b) Two years of experience in the respective field.
National Technical Research Organization: Diploma in the concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.

The posts are Group "B" (Non-Gazetted), in Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.

Application Fee: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only)

Payment Mode: BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. 

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Examination Centres for North Eastern Region (NER): 

Itanagar, Dibrugarh, Guwahati (Dispur), Jorhat, Silchar, Tejpur, Imphal, Shillong, Aizwal, Kohima, Agartala.

• Date of Computer Based Examination (Paper-I): To be notified later
• Date of Paper-II (Conventional): To be notified later
