Applicants must ensure their eligibility
for CTET 2019 exam before filling up an online
application form. The prescribed eligibility criteria are as under:
For I to V Class Teacher Primary Level
- Candidate Must be passed intermediate/12th class or any it's exam by having at least 50% marks and a diploma in elementary education of 2 years (appearing in last year or passed both are able to apply). OR
- 12th passed or any its equivalent examination by securing a minimum 45% aggregate marks and a diploma in El. Ed (elementary education) of 2 years, appearing in last year or completed candidates are eligible to apply according to Regulations 2002 of NCTE. OR
- 12th completed by scoring 50% minimum marks and B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) of 4 years (appearing in the final year or completed candidates are eligible). OR
- Students must have passed their 12th examination or its equivalent examination by scoring at least 50% minimum marks and diploma course of Education of 2 year. OR
- Those students who have completed their graduation and diploma in Elementary Education 2 year (appearing in last year or completed are able to apply).
For VI to VIII Teacher Post
- Candidates must be Graduated & 2-year D.El.Ed (diploma in elementary education) appearing & last year. OR
- You must complete your under-graduation from in any field by securing at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) of 1 year programme. OR
- 45% marks secured in under-graduation along with B.Ed. of 1-year course according to as per guidelines of NCTE. OR
- Completed 12th examination or any its equivalent examination by having 50% aggregate marks and B.El.Ed (Bachelor's degree in elementary education) of 4 years. OR
- Candidates must be graduated with any stream by with 50% marks in aggregate along with B. Ed. of 1 year appearing in last year or complete both are eligible to apply. OR
- 12th or any it's equivalent with 50% minimum marks along with B.A. or B.Sc.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed. / B.A. Ed. of 4 years (pursuing in last year or completed are able to apply).
Application Fee for CTET December 2019
General/OBC:-
- For Paper-I or Paper-II:- Rs. 700/-
- Both Paper: Rs. 1200/-
SC/ST:-
- For Paper-I or Paper-II:- Rs. 350/-
- Both Paper: Rs. 600/-

STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF CTET Syllabus :
All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of CTET July 2019 :
(i) Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note:
A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
