Gauhati University Published a Notification Today about B.Ed. Common Entrance Test 2019(GUBEDCET) Which scheduled to be held on 18th July 2019 will now be held on 25th July 2019 in view of the current flood situation in Assam. No new Admit Card will be issued previous Admit Card will be valid.

The entrance test, which will be held centrally and will be conducted by Gauhati University for all the colleges recognized by the NCTE and affiliated to Gauhati University.The application process will online only. which includes, online application process, deposition of fee through e-challan, and issue of admit card for the Entrance Test.

Course Name: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
Eligibility Criteria:
Must secure 50% in Bachelor degree or equivalent course. However, 5% relaxation will be applicable for ST/SC/PD candidates.
In case of an applicant who secures below 50% in UG course, then the candidate must secure 55% in PG course. However, there will be 5% relaxation for ST/SC/PD candidates.

Examination Details:
1) Total Questions in GUBEDCET-2019 - 100
2) Exam Duration of the GUBEDCET-2019: 2 hours 30 minutes
3) MCQ type with four alternative choices of which only one answer will be the correct option.
4) The test Booklet and the OMR will be in English. The test will be OMR based.
5) There will be 4 marks for correct answer and (-1) for wrong answer. No negative marks for unanswered questions.
Application Fee: Rs.1000.00 + Bank Transaction Charge
How to apply?
All candidates are requested to apply in the official website www.guportal.in. The application may be submitted online by making an online payment of the fee from till 4th July 2019. The Online Links not available till now. We will update it after official information.
