Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 vacancy details :

1. Chargeman ( Mechanic)
Total posts: 103

2. Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive)
Total posts: 69

Age limit: Maximum 30 years 
Relaxable for Government servant upto five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the central Government).

Educational Qualification: (as per existing SRO 106/2017)

Chargeman (Mechanic): 

(i) Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a recognised University or Institute and;
(ii) Two years working experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of design or production or Maintenance of Engineering equipment or system from a recognised organisation.

Chargeman (Ammn & Expl): 

Diploma in chemical engineering from a recognised university or institution with two years experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of chemical engineering or processing from recognised organisation. 


Functions of  Chargeman: 

Selected candidates would be posted to various Naval Armament Inspectorate (NA) units at Depots/ Ordnance Factories/DRDO Laboratories/Quasi Military Establishments to undertake inspection/ QA activities. The functional duties would involve sailing on-board Indian Navy platforms and handling of Explosives and Ordnance.

Application Fee: 

Candidates (except SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 205/-
