Ed course at North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), NCERT, Umiam, Shillong from eligible candidates belonging to eight North East States viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.State quota for each of the states and reservation is done as per the Government of India norms.

Eligibility criteria for B. Ed Course: 

Minimum 50% marks in Graduate degree or the Post Graduate Degree in Science/B.E or Technology with Science or Mathematics or in Graduate or in the Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences/Humanities are eligible for admission to B.Ed Course. (SC/ST/PH candidates have relaxation of 5% marks). 

Eligibility Criteria of States: 

• Candidate should select the desirable State/UT where they seeking admission. For proof of State the candidate has to produce any one of the following documents

a) Qualifying examination passed documents from the State/UT as given in the advertisement.

b) Latest certificate of place of posting in the State/UT for legal guardian/parents if he/she is an employee of state/central govt undertaking/Autonomous bodies.

c) State domicile certificate from the competent authority of the particular state.
