Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya (SSN) is the premier eye hospital & Postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology of the Northeast, established its own eye bank – Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya Eye Bank. It is a state-of-the-art unit registered under the ‘Transplantation of Human Organs Act’ and accredited by the Eye Bank Association of India, a parent body for controlling Eye Bank system in India, which, in turn, is controlled by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare of Govt. of India

A center of excellence in eye care is seeking applicants for full-time qualified Consultant in a clinical and academic position in the following sub-specialty.
I. Cornea 
2. Community Ophthalmology

Requisite Education Qualification:-

• Post Graduate degree (DNB/MS/DO) in Ophthalmology preferably with specialization in a respective ophthalmic subspecialty.

• Remuneration will be on the basis of experience and performance.

• There is provision for performance linked incentive and Institutional sponsorship for academic development.
