1. Junior Assistant (Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam)
Total posts: 9
Pay: Pay Band-II (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 49,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under rules. 

2. Junior Assistant (Field Level Establishment under DEE, Assam)
Total posts: 58 

Pay: Pay Band-II (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 49,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under rules. 

3. Statistical Assistant (Field Level Establishment under DEE, Assam)
No of posts: 8 
Pay: Pay Band-II (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 49,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 7,400/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under rules. 

4. Computer (Field Level Establishment under DEE, Assam) 
No of posts: 3

Pay: Pay Band-II (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 49,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under rules. 1 0 1 1 0 3 

Age limit : Must not be less than 18 years and not more than 44 years in respect of General/ Unreserved Candidates, 47 in respect of OBC/ MOBC Candidates and 49 years in respect of SC/ ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) as on 01/01/2019.

Required Educational Qualification: 
The candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government. The candidate also must possess computer skills for handling data and text on computer as specified below: 

a) Must have knowledge of office productivity software tools independent of any operating system, i.e. MS Windows, Linux, Mac, etc. such as, 
i. Word Processor (both in English & Assamese) 
ii. Spreadsheets 
iii. Presentation graphics 
iv. Concept of database 
v. Internet 
vi. E-mail 
b) Must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Application from an institute recognised by the Government. 

Director of Elementary Education,Assam 78 Posts Grade-III Recruitment 2019 Method of Selection: 

The candidates must undergo a Written Examination (OMR), A Writing Ability Test and Computer Proficiency Test in a phase manner. 

1. 1st Phase: The Written Examination will be held for total 100 marks 
2. 2nd Phase: The Writing Ability Test will be held for total 30 marks to assess the Language Skill of English and Assamese. 
3. 3rd Phase: The Computer Proficiency Test will be held for total 20 marks Candidates must have to qualify in the 1st Phase to appear in the 2nd Phase and 3rd Phase respectively. 

The selection of candidates will be finalized by the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC).
