Place of working: 02 each at the state capitals of 7 North Eastern States except Sikkim/as decided by the competent authority from time to time.
a. Qualification: Degree in Engineering with minimum 03 years of relevant experience in teaching/Labs/Industry or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 05 years relevant experience in teaching/Labs/Industry after technical qualification.
b. Nature of Duty: The consultant will be required to discharge the duties as may be assigned by the competent authority from time to time.
c. Contractual Period: The consultant will be engaged as a full time consultant for 11 months w.e.f. joining date or until further orders, whichever is earliest but the engagement however, be liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason or may be extended based on the performance, with the sole discretion of the competent authority.
d. Remuneration: Rs. 30000/- (fixed) per month subject to deduction of 10% towards income tax (TDS).
e. Allowances: The Junior consultants will not be entitled to any allowances such as DA, HRA, CGHS, Medical Re-Imbursement or any other relief etc.
f. Mode of Selection: Personal interaction will be held to select the Junior Consultant in case of more applications received, there will be a written test before the personal interaction. No TA / DA interview will be paid for participating. Preference will be given to the local candidates from their respective States.
