Online applications are invited from the candidates who are permanent resident of Assam for registration to appear in the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT)-2019, Assam for admission into Diploma courses in the following State Government Polytechnics of assam and Polytechnics outside Assam (against seat allotted by the Govt of India) Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology,Sivsagar (a Govt of India Institute) for the session 2019-20.

POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM Test centers are spread all over the state of Assam. Candidates can enter their preference for examination center in the application form. Exam center once allotted will not be changed.

POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM test centers will be in the cities of Mangaldoi and Tezpur. Apart from these, the examination will be held at all the polytechnic institutes of Assam State. Here is a list of Institutes at which ASSAM PAT 2019 will be held:-

POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM Eligibility :

• For General Category candidate 20 years 4 months on 31-12-2019.
• For SC/ST Category candidate 23 years 4 Moths on 32-12-2019.

Entry Qualification: Candidate must pass the HSLC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject with-

• For General category candidate, his/her average score in Mathematics and Science subjects in Class 10 must be above 40%.
• For SC category candidate, his/her average score in Mathematics and Science subjects in Class 10 must be above 35%.
• For ST category candidate, his/her average score in Mathematics and Science subjects in Class 10 must be above 33%.

POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM APPLICATION FEE :

An application fee of Rs.500/- + bank charges as applicable is to be paid using “State Bank Collect” which facilitates payment through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. Payment may also be made in cash at any State Bank of India after generating the Cash Deposit Form from “State Bank Collect’ in final step of Online Application. Further instructions will be available during the online application process. Candidates are required to carefully follow the steps while registering online.

POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM  Online Application Form will be made available from 1st March 2019. Candidates can fill the application form for ASSAM PAT 2019 on the official website of DTE Assam.

How to Apply POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM

• Go to the official website of DTE Assam www.dte.assam.in.
• Click on ‘Online Application for PAT 2019’.
• After this, application form will appear on the screen.
• Candidates need to select the courses and fill the details as asked in the form.
• After filling the details, candidates will need to pay the application fee for the form, which is Rs.500+Bank Charge.(Application fee can be paid using online method only)
• After the payment, the application form is complete. Candidates are advised to have a printout of the form for future reference.

POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM Exam Pattern

ASSAM PAT 2019 Exam Pattern is to be decided by DTE Assam and may change from year to year. However, here are some details of examination pattern of the exam:- ASSAM PAT 2019 will be conducted in offline mode. ASSAM PAT 2019 will have 100 questions, of 1 mark each. Candidates will be given a total duration of 120 minutes to complete the exam. Questions in ASSAM PAT 2019 will be from subjects of Mathematics and Science. All the questions in ASSAM PAT 2019 will be of multiple choice type. There will be no negative marking in the test. POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM Syllabus : Mathematics: - Candidates may study class 10 level topics like Basics of Quadratic Equations, Linear Equations, Geometry, Co-ordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Interest, Time Speed Distance, Profit and loss, Factors etc. Science: - Candidates may study topics like Basics of Physics, Chemistry, Optics, Chemical Equations, Gravity etc. POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST (PAT)-2019,ASSAM Admit Card : PAT 2019,Assam Admit Card will be available for download from 2nd May 2019. Candidates can download the Admit Card from the official website of DTE Assam. Admit Card mentions all the important details regarding the exam: - Candidates may follow the steps listed below to download the Admit Card for PAT 2019: - Go to the official website of DTE Assam- www.dte.assam.in. Scroll down, click on ‘Download Admit Card for PAT 2019’. Now candidates will be redirected to a page from where they can download the Admit Card. Candidates need to enter their Application Number and date of Birth and Click on ‘Log in.’ Option to download the Admit Card will appear on the screen. Candidates are advised to get at least 2 colored printouts of this Admit Card, for examination purpose and for future reference also.
